Även Jessica var på matchen men Ed och hon satt inte tillsammans.

It’s that time of year again.  Blair’s birthday!  While her actual bday isn’t for another week or so, I hear Blair’s planning an early celebration.  Word has it invites haven’t gone out quite yet, so don’t worry if your mailbox has been empty.  Though everyone should keep their fingers crossed they made the cut.  Blair’s birthday parties are always pretty memorable.  They’re usually lavish, ever so classy and always dramatic.  Just like the guest of honor.  Happy 20^th Birthday, Blair.  Let’s hope this year doesn’t disappoint.

Chuck (Ed Westwick) hosts a “Saints and Sinners” masquerade party at the Empire Hotel. At the party, Dan (Penn Badgley) and Nate (Chace Crawford) don’t know what to make of Serena’s (Blake Lively) strange behavior and mixed messages. Blair (Leighton Meester) sets her sights on becoming the new face of Anne Archibald’s (guest star Francie Swift) foundation for girls, but Anne is concerned that Blair’s friendship with Chuck Bass may be problematic. Katie Cassidy guest stars as Juliet. Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Ron Fortunato directed the episode written by Sara Goodman

'Gossip Girl' actor Ed Westwick says he sends ''saucy'' text messages ''all the time'' because it is easier than making phone calls.

Ed Westwick sends sexy texts "all the time".

The 'Gossip Girl' star - who is believed to have rekindled his romance with co-star Jessica Szohr - admitted he is a fan of sending raunchy messages, as they are easier than making telephone calls.

When asked about the texts he said: "Oh yeah, I send saucy texts all the time. They're very saucy you know. I use that classic line, 'what are you wearing?' people are braver when it comes to texts because they can hide behind them."

British-born Ed, who is now based in New York, also said he's not a fan of using cheesy chat up lines on girls himself, but that girls approach him with some very strange lines.

He added: "I'm not a 'Get your coat, you're pulled' kind of guy. Although I'm sure I did use that line when I was 13 at the under 18s disco.

"Some girls say the weirdest things like, 'I've been to London', then they try to have a conversation with me all about London. I'm like, 'Great!'

"A lot of people still don't realise I'm English , which is funny. The amount of times I've said, 'Yes, I'm English."

Spotted: B ducking into Sant Ambroeus for a latte.  Dorota waited outside like she was on lookout.  D picking up Nicole Krauss’ new book Great House at the Strand.  He was alone.  Obviously.  N with Juliet taking in a performance of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Not only are they a hot couple but they’re also a cultured couple.  Ugh.  S walking up Fifth Ave near the Waldorfs.  She was carrying Chinese takeout.  Relaxing night in for the besties?  And again, C drinking at the bar in the Empire.  What else is new?

 

 

Igår var Ed på Vogue's London Emerging Designers Cocktail Party. Het som vanligt var han och han lät sitt brösthår visas litegrann :P

Svar: Det som jag har läst och hört om vad som kommer hända i nästa avsnitt är det här, vet dock inte om allt är sant:

4x07 is the peace treaty thing. There's apparently one clause that neither wants anyone to know about. It's also Lily and Rufus' anniversary, and Dan gets mad, because he wants Jenny there but she can't come because of Chuck and Blair. So Dan decides to make it look like Blair broke their treaty and sends a bogus GG blast about her having coffee with Jack. Only, when he goes to reveal it to Chuck, he finds C and B there laughing and having coffee, because they recognize his plan. Blair mentions that she knew where Jack was and Chuck asks how and she's evasive. Then Chuck makes a gross remark about Jenny to Dan and it further pisses Dan off, so he digs around and finds their contract and makes a plan to sabotage them at B's birthday party, which is that night. Blair invites Chuck to her bday party. At the party, Blair is inviting all the staff/faculty from Columbia, including a woman she is particularly interested in learning from. She keeps telling Eleanor she wants to be a powerful woman. But then Robyn comes on stage and says she has a surprise adn Blair is freaking out like NO! Robyn intros a video and it's Blair, drunk signing "Stand By Your Man" on top of a piano with Chuck and Robyn trying to get her down. Blair is mortified and accidentally knocks the woman she admires into a chocolate fountain. Blair assumes it's Chuck who does it and Robyn tells her it was (but it was actually Dan). They find out it was Dan and everyone is disappointed in him, including Rufus, so he goes home and Vanessa is there and they're happy to be friends and ashamed of the way they have let the UES affect them. Oh, and Blair tells Chuck that she knew where Jack was because she hired a PI to follow Chuck after Eva left so she would know if he was still contacting her and the PI told her where Jack was. Eleanor and Blair have a conversation after the party where Blair tells her that she wants to be a powerful woman, but that around Chuck she becomes a scared little girl. Eleanor gives her a pep talk and goes to bed. Blair is walking around to go to bed and sees Chuck is still there. He rips up the peace treaty and says they can never be civil, they aren't friends. And she says good, I hate you. He says I hate you, too. Then he grabs her and they have sex on the dining room table.

Choose Sides

One week down and the war between Blair and Chuck still doesn’t have a victor. The 6 Day War this is not. Instead, I have a feeling these two will be duking it out for quite some time.  Though it seems as if they’ve taken a few days off, with both seeking refuge in their respective safe zones (for Blair the East Side above 65^th Street, for Chuck his hotel).  Surely, fighting will resume shortly.  I’m guessing the two sides are just gathering their ammunition and preparing themselves for combat.  You can count on B & C to be battling until a clear winner is named.  And don’t even think that either will surrender.  I mean look who we’re dealing with here.  These two are each going for the gold.  No matter what.  Which begs the ultimate question: whose team are you on?

Ed Westwick can barely believe his luck. After small roles in Brit shows Casualty and Doctors, the Hertforshire-born actor landed the role of ladies’ man Chuck Bass in the his US series Gossip Girl.

These days when he’s not on the set in New York, Ed, 23, is rubbing A-list shoulders at glam parties on both sides of the Atlantic. But does he miss home, has he ever been in love and what’s really going on with him and his on/off girlfriend, co-star Jessica Szohr? Look dropped into Ed’s swanky penthouse suite at London’s Mayfair Hotel to get the lowdown.

Like so many actors, you left the UK for LA – but unlike many, landed your dream role. Do you feel super-lucky?

“Absolutely. I pinch myself every day and that’s a good thing  – it keeps me hungry. At times there are things I don’t like about it, but I’m having a great ride in America and relishing it.”

Was it easy to settle into American life?

“At first I was “wow!”, but now that I’ve settled down I miss Britain a bit more – especially watching football with me friends.”

Is there as much bitching on the Gossip Girl set as we imagine?

“No. We’re just a group of young people who got thrown into this thing together. I think people are just looking for things to say.”

You were spotted kissing your ex, Jessica Szohr, recently. Are you back together?

“I don’t want to talk about Jessica. Next question.”

Would you ever date someone you worked with again?

“I never say never to anything.”

Have you always been a hit with the ladies?

“I was a 24/7 stud. It came effortlessly, girls were dripping off me. No, not at all. I’m joking! I was jealous of one of my friends at school because he was always dating the older, good-looking girls That never happened to me.”

Well, your character Chuck is a real womaniser – are you in any way the same?

“He puts it about and I’d like to think I’m a little more sensitive than that. As soon as girls talk to m e for a while they realize we’re very different.”

Do you prefer British or American girls?

“Er, I’ll say Brazilian girls! How do American girls differ from British ones? Their approach is different. British girls soldier on, while US girls freak out and need everything to be perfect.”

You once said you’ve only been in love once. Who with?

“My mum. There’s only one woman in my life. Am I a mummy’s boy? Absolutely. I love her.”

What girls do you go for?

“Those who can hold a conversation – and a pretty face doesn’t hurt. But I don’t have a type. I’ve been attracted to girls and it’s not been about looks. You get that connection and sometimes it’s totally involuntary.”

Who’s your ideal woman?

“I’ve never met Scarlett Johansson, but I think she’s great.”

Spotted: B with her minions at the Columbia library.  They were doing major research.  School work or extracurricular?  S buying lots of clothes at Barney’s.  No man, no problem!  She might not have a boyfriend but she has a credit card.  Retail therapy, much?  D and V at Veselka like old times.  The couple that eats pierogies together stays together.  C riding up 5th Avenue in his limo.  No idea where he was going.  Hmm.  And finally, and new girlfriend Juliet dining at Dovetail.  They were holding hands over candlelight.  Don’t know whether to aw or to barf.  Thoughts?

Ed Westwick has teased the best way to romance him is with a “pint of lager” and “fish and chips”.

The handsome British actor is best known for playing arrogant rich teenager Chuck Bass on American television show Gossip Girl. He was famously in an on-off relationship with his co-star Jessica Szohr, but the pair recently split up again.

Ed says he is easily pleased when it comes to women, and joked that a large glass of lager and some traditional greasy British takeaway food would be enough to make him fall for a girl.

“Seduce me? A pint of Stella and a bag of fish and chips please,” laughed the star when more! magazine asked how he likes to be seduced.

The hunk was quick to point out he was only joking, saying he doesn’t in fact look for anything particular in a lady’s seduction methods. He does like girls to be themselves though.

“Nah, I don’t really know the best way. Just be cool and be original,” he added.

The actor says he truly knows he’s fallen for a girl when he stops eying up potential sexual partners. Ed thinks love is very difficult to define, but he knows it is a feeling he’s experienced before.

“It’s just that feeling, and it’s so hard to describe. It’s when you give a f**k. You care what they think and how they feel. And then when you’re not looking at anyone else, that’s when you know she’s The One,” he gushed.

Ed Westwick has said that he is too young to commit to a relationship.

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actor reportedly told Heat that his relationship with his co-star Jessica Szohr is "complicated".

Westwick said: "I'm always on the market. I'm too young to be tied down... I want someone who's intelligent, can really laugh and knows what love should be."

Asked where he would take his supposed celebrity crush Cheryl Cole on a date, he quipped: "We could eat Hobnobs and watch Gossip Girl. I'm incredibly vain."

Last month, Westwick suggested that he is currently too busy for a romance.

Här kommer en intervjuv med Ed från när han var i england och spelade in kortfilmen "The commuter" plus en ny bild! Jag typ smälter! Hur snygg får man vara!

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick granted me his only UK press interview this week when he flew in to London to make a short film for the new Nokia N8. The flick was shot entirely in HD on the phone itself and co-starred Dev Patel.
During his break on set the star told me he had quite a soft spot for newly single star Cheryl Cole. He revealed: “Cheryl is like gorgeous. I have got a soft spot for the Geordie accent. My dad is from the North East and i used to go up there when i was a kid and here the soft Geordie accents. I’d love to hook Cheryl up with a cameo in Gossip Girl. I don’t watch X Factor as they don’t have it in the States. But maybe i could show Cheryl the way of the dragon when she comes over her next.” Over to you Chezza!

The English star, who stars opposite Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen in the hit US show, tells me he has a perfect way of never getting homesick too.“There is an English shop in the West Village in Manhattan,” he laughed. “It has everything man like Monster Munch – I’m all about the Monster Munch, Curly Wurly’s, Polos. To get a bottle of Ribena sent out to me it cost over £15 for a large bottle. It’s still too much for my wages.” Somehow I doubt that Ed!

The star denied any rifts forming between cast members following his split from the show’s other star Jessica Szohr. The pair split earlier this year and he was said to have forced cast members to side with him following the break-up. But he says all is peachy on set these days. “I have seen that people have been saying there have been lots of off-screen rifts. There is absolutely no truth in that. Everyone is cool man,” he added.

 

He also says he’s down to earth despite his huge global success with the show. Ed laughed: “I don’t have an assistant. The girls on Gossip Girl have assistants. I don’t need an assistant.
