Question: Your Gossip Girl spoiler from last week’s AA is driving me nuts. You teased that there’s a kiss coming that is “so hot it will be followed by a [spoiler alert].” Tell us who’s smooching and what’s hidden beneath the [spoiler alert]! —Cathy
Ausiello: The person on the receiving end of the kiss is Blair, and it’s followed by a **a*. [Stay close to my Twitter feed for scoop on those three missing letters.]
Question: I’m really enjoying Gossip Girl this season. I was wondering if you had any spoilers to share with us? Anything about Blair and Chuck would be good! —Tanya
Ausiello: Blair’s wedding shower is coming up, and two people will be conspicuously MIA from the invite list. Guesses? Hit the comments!

wrightst3: Any details about the EPIC apology from Chuck to Blair coming up on #GossipGirl?
I don’t think the apology itself is epic, but rather it’s an apology about something that happened in the past that was epic. I’m also hearing that Chuck will be taking a certain someone to therapy with him. Any guesses on who?

Hugo Becker: Jag kan inte vänta tills Louis blir pappa!
Blair (Leighton Meester) may be stressing out about her pregnancy on Gossip Girl, but Hugo Becker assures HollywoodLife.com that Prince Louis will be there for her every step of the way! We caught up with to Hugo at the Mohegan Sun Casino’s 15th Anniversary on Oct. 21, and we couldn’t help but ask what he thinks about the fans’ theories that Chuck (Ed Westwick) might really be the baby’s father.
“I’m very happy to be a father” is all he had to say about the controversy. “And that’s that!”
Hugo said that, not only is he excited for his character to become a father, but he thinks he’ll make a great one:
“He will take care of his family, his wife and also his children,” he said confidently. “I also think it’s part of who he is, I have no doubt about this. He will be a really good father. At least, he will try his best to.”
He also made not of how much Blair has matured, adding that she’ll be an extremely doting mom.
“She’ll be a great mom!” he told us. “She definitely takes care of people around her. No matter what happens, she takes care of people. She takes care of her friends and her lovers … I guess you’ve seen that. She’s a very loyal person in terms of friendship and love, so I have no doubt she will be an amazing mother.”
But when asked if Prince Louis and Blair’s royal wedding — assuming they make it to the altar — will outdo Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s he simply said: “You tell me! I’m not going to judge my own wedding, so you come! You come and you tell me!”
(Oh, don’t worry. We’ll be there!)

Gossip Girl' scoop: EP talks special 'Sleep No More' episode, 'surprising romantic twists
Gossip Girl is going to the theater — but not to just any show.
A very special Nov. 14 episode will find the gang attending Sleep No More, the provocative live show that contains elements of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. “It took months to get it together,” executive producer Josh Safran tells EW exclusively of the super-secret filming of the episode. “It was incredible to use their space, their actors… the whole thing. We like to do a masked ball every year, and this just dials it up so many notches. We were very much attuned to keep Sleep No More‘s secrets. At the same time, they were also really helpful in letting us utilize stuff that they maybe normally wouldn’t. We shot there for two days — several of the rooms, different floors.”
Sleep No More, known for its dark tone and unconventional approach to theater entertainment, also provided a perfect backdrop to tell a twistier story, Safran said. “Unlike our previous masquerade balls, there’s blood; it’s darker. There’s Lady Macbeth, there’s Macbeth. It’s a little more twisted than usual, and that episode also holds in it so many surprising, romantic twists … It’s sort of a big, sexy, blood, everything-comes-to-a-head kind of an episode.”
For Safran, the chance to go a little darker is a perk that comes with having young adult characters. “They’re older. Now we can go to these dark places,” he says. “The episode is still very fun, by the way. In fact, in some ways, it’s probably even more fun than a usual masquerade ball for us because it’s all of these characters connecting and missing each other. It’s really sort of allowed us a broader range of emotions for the characters in a weird way — they’re dealing with adult issues. It’s sort of a big turning point episode for everybody.”

Spoiler från Ausiello
Question: Rumor has it that Serena and Dan’s book will continue to collide on Gossip Girl — what does this mean for Dan and Serena? —S.H.
Ausiello: It means S will channel her inner thespian and pretend to bury the hatchet with her ex in an effort to get him to sign over the movie rights to the controversial tell-all. I’m guessing Dan will see right through it, though. Blake Lively is a terrific actress; Serena, not so much.
Question: Is Blair’s baby daddy really Louis on Gossip Girl? —Kori
Ausiello: I honestly don’t know. What I can tell you, however, is that there’s a kiss coming up. A kiss that will whip a certain passionate ‘shipper base into a frenzy. A kiss that will have office watercoolers buzzing for weeks to come. A kiss so hot it’s followed by a [spoiler alert]!

Monica: Tell me Blair is lying and Louis isn't the father! Tell me this new Gossip Girl photo is of Blair telling Chuck he's the father!
Can't say either of those things, sorry! Should we stop talking then? Or did you want to know that Louis is definitely the baby daddy? (That's what our source says, anyway. And this source hasn't been wrong before.) Let me know if you want to know.
Deirdre: Dying to know about the new Gossip Girl photo! Any hope for Chuck and Blair?
I'm told they will have a heart to heart and Chuck does apologize for something very big/epic, but I don't think this scene has the outcome you're hoping for. Unless you're a Dan + Blair or Louis + Blair or Dorota + Blair shipper.

Awwww, Monkey Bass. Well, I can’t say you see too much doggie action in Monday’s episode, but I can tell you that the plans are currently for Monkey to stick around for a good while! He’s not going anywhere.
Despite recent events, I still root for Dan and Serena as a couple. With Dan’s book coming, is there any hope for DS to reconnect somehow in the near future? — Leslie
I’ll only speak for Monday’s ep, but let’s just say Serena joins the Humphrey Haters as a result of her portrayal. It’s safe to say a relationship with Dan is pretty far from her mind in this episode. Can’t say the same for someone else, though…

I would love you forever if you could uncover any sign of when Chuck and Blair actually interact on this season of Gossip Girl. Will she tell him she’s pregnant any time soon? — Emily
I have uncovered. And yes.
Please, please, please give us some Chuck/Blair news! Or just a hint of how Chuck reacts to Blair’s pregnancy? #GG — @l0lliver
If I tell you about his reaction, it will definitely give away an important part of this plotline, so I can’t say what happens specifically. But you’ll be talking about it the day after. Believe. Me. And don’t forget to send me your reactions! firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you know when we are going to see this Chuck/Blair/Louis triangle [Josh] Safran keeps talking about? There hasn’t been a Chair scene. — @wrightst3
The important thing is that there will be a Chair scene this season… and it will happen very soon. But I don’t think that sets this whole thing in motion as much as the great scene between Chuck and Louis will. (Note: The season’s first Chair scene and the aforementioned caucus of well-dressed gentlemen are not in the same ep.)
We know that Blair is going to try to keep the pregnancy a secret, but can we get some scoop on just how long she will be able to keep it from everyone? My guess is not too long. Thank you. — Melissa
Your guess would be correcto. In fact, three very important people learn the news next week. One could be someone mentioned above.
What the Duck is going on with Chuck and Dan? Is Duck the new Date? #gossipgirl — @simplecrazy8810

Q & A med Safran
Who knew that after five seasons, Gossip Girl would be returning to the basics?
Last week’s premiere dropped a bombshell (Blair’s unexpected pregnancy) and set up the season’s arcs: Serena trying out the Hollywood thing, a “reformed” Chuck returning to his old ways and introducing the enigmatic Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley) into the fold. But after the departures of Taylor Momsen, Connor Paolo and Jessica Szohr, executive producer Josh Safran says this year the CW drama is focusing more on its core group. “This season is very much about the choices our characters making,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter.
PHOTOS: The CW's Fall Premiere Party
As the show readies for its landmark 100th episode (which hasn't been written yet), Safran discusses the game-changing pregnancy reveal, why Diana is keen on the Gossip Girl website and what viewers can expect in future episodes.
[Warning: Minor spoilers ahead.]
The Hollywood Reporter: The writers always knew that Blair would be pregnant. Can you speak to why she was the one?
Josh Safran: We knew it was her that was pregnant when we placed the pregnancy test at the end of the finale so that wasn’t like we were going to place the pregnancy test and we’ll decide who’s pregnant later. We just knew we wanted Blair to have this complication thrown at her in her very orderly future life. Blair is the kind of person who often has a vision of how she wants her world to be and that vision meets with harsh realities left and right. This is just one of those realities and now, can she fit it into the vision of her future or does her future have to be altered in some way.
THR: The other question that comes up too, knowing Gossip Girl, will she even go through with the pregnancy? Is that going to played out through to the end?
Safran: I don’t want to comment on the storyline but I will say is that all of those questions are going to definitely come up for her. She’s going to have some interesting decisions to make in the near future.
THR: How will this development affect her friendships and romances?
Safran: It affects all of them in very interesting ways. This season is very much about the choices our characters making, whether it’s Dan’s book or Serena’s choice in career or Nate’s connection with Elizabeth Hurley. Every one of these character choices affect everybody around them.
THR: Was there any discussions about the baby being someone else’s before last season ended?
Safran: No, we knew it was Blair. We only did it because we knew that Blair was pregnant.
THR: The storylines seem to affect Blair more so than the other characters ..
Safran: It’s always been about the two girls (Serena and Blair) and their friendship has been the central conceit of the show and that remains very much the case this season. In the premiere, Serena’s in L.A. and Blair is in New York. Once they both get in New York, it’s very clearly still both of them. Serena will be returning to New York, which you’ll see in the second episode, at the end.
THR: Elizabeth Hurley’s character has an interest in the Gossip Girl website. Is there anything that you can reveal about how she’ll play into their world?
Safran: Diana Payne definitely, which you’ll hear about in Monday’s episode, wants to become the new media baron in New York. In order to do that, you need to eliminate your competitors, whether they’re the Post or Gossip Girl. She very much decides that in order to get what she wants, she needs to eliminate Gossip Girl. She’s got an agenda, but her agenda is very much to get where she wants to get, not somebody hit my dog with her car and I’m going about this convoluted way to get them. She’s direct, which unsettles the other characters because we’re not used to somebody saying, “You know what, I’m done with you.”
THR: Ivy (new series regular Kaylee DeFer) is back, but will viewers find out what happened to the real Charlie?
Safran: Yes. You will find out during the course of the season. I don’t want to say how that reveal will come about, but I will say that you cannot pretend to be somebody that exists without the person who’s existing to know about it.
THR: Will Chuck’s downfall near the end of last season be explored?
Safran: That will absolutely be revisited. That’s a major part of Chuck’s storyline this year.
THR: Are you facing any challenges this season?
Safran: The writers will attest to this, but there’s still so many stories to tell. The challenges in the past might have been the beginning of college because we didn’t want to be the kind of show that put everybody in the same school and then you realize they do that for a reason because the characters can interact. That’s maybe a mistake that we learned from.
THR: Is the blueprint for the series finale already set?
Safran: No, right now we just finished building our 100th episode. It’s going to be good, that’s all I can say. I can’t comment on [whether people will be returning], but what I can say is if you haven’t watched the show in a while, you can pop back in because it pays homage to every episode that came before it. It will center around a major event, probably the biggest event that we’ve done.
THR: Is there an idea in your head where you want the characters to end up?
Safran: Even when you do, in a weird way, they become living, breathing people to us. We all set goals for ourselves and those goals shift and change. Sure you can catch me up on Monday and I can say, “We all talked and we think it should be ‘X,’” then by Wednesday, it’s gone into a different direction. Some pieces we know and other pieces we hope for, but it could all change tomorrow.
THR: Are there any new characters or guest stars dropping by?
Safran: We’re looking at the first half of the season, because that’s where we are right now, of truly reconnecting our mains. Elizabeth Hurley is the only guest star because we wanted to make our characters fully enmeshed with each other. There are guest stars but they’re more Blair’s mother, Blair’s stepfather, Nate’s grandfather; it’s really more family stories. Season one was very much about these kids trying to define themselves and act out against their parents or realizing they were becoming their parents, as you grow up, you’re going to revisit those issues again.
THR: Anything else that can be teased?
Safran: Our first dream sequence of the year is in episode seven and it’s a really fun dream sequence. All I can tell you is it involves Blair, let’s put it that way.
Gossip Girl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on the CW.

@SunnySabry: Anything about Chuck and Blair and @BabyBass_, please! I’m starving!:)
First of all, I’m so happy to see that Blair’s baby is on Twitter! So tech-savvy for a fetus. I gotta get my 6 month old on that. Slacker. Now, some good news for you Blucksters: Blair totally makes out with a guy in next week’s episode and it is NOT the prince. The bad news? It’s not Chuck either. (Wah wah!) Also, it’s not what it seems, but it is not a dream. Riddle me THAT, Riddler! Post your guesses in the comments.
Frances: Anything more on who is gay on Gossip Girl?
You mean who is gay in Dan’s book? I can tell you it’s not Serena. And it’s not Chuck. And on an unrelated side note, when Dan’s book comes out his father Rufus also will not be pleased and it’ll cause lots of friction. Dan’s kinda screwed.
