Lily van der Woodsen isn't the only one worried about her new Brooklyn leanings. Is her Blair's (Leighton Meester) new Brooklyn boyfriend causing her UES status to depreciate? All of those trips to that Eastern borough are wearing down your Wasp shine, B! That or... Maybe Ms. Waldorf just wants her minions back? As we've already seen on tape, Penelope will be making an appearance later this season.

In the just-released official synopsis for Gossip Girl Season 5, Episode 21, “Despicable B,” Blair Waldorf hatches a plan to regain control of her Upper East Side kingdom. Thanks to the episode’s title, we have a hunch this plan isn’t entirely kosher — could it involve Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) perhaps? We know Chuck will soon reach out to Blair for help with his mommy problem, but maybe there's another reason for all of these Chair sightings? Only time will tell.

Blair (Leighton Meester) feels like her Upper East Side status might be slipping away and devises a plan to assure that doesn’t happen.  Meanwhile, Lily (Kelly Rutherford) throws a family gathering – including William (guest star Baldwin), Carol (guest star Sheila Kelly) and Lola (guest star Ella Rae Peck) – in an attempt to prove the van der Woodsen family is as united as ever.  Finally, Nate (Chace Crawford) digs into Diana’s (guest star Hurley) past and is surprised by what he discovers.
