Serena’s love life is looking up, way up — her latest beau comes all the way from Heaven.
Gossip Girl has tapped 7th Heaven vet Barry Watson to join the sixth and final season as a romantic interest for Blake Lively‘s unlucky-in-love alter ego, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Little is known about his character, save for his name (Steven Spence) and occupation (he’s a young entrepreneur).
Watson’s post-Heaven credits include portraying the title character in ABC’s What About Brian and co-starring as Christina Applegate’s on-again, off-again boyfriend in ABC’s Samantha Who? Last year, he played Sara Rue’s time-travelling suitor in the ABC Family pic My Future Boyfriend.

Andrea Gabriel — who portrayed the ill-fated Nadia on ABC’s mysterious island drama — has nabbed a recurring role in Gossip Girl‘s upcoming sixth and final season.
She joins the CW soap as a businesswoman from Dubai, Variety reports.

We caught up with Michelle Trachtenberg, aka the deliciously devious Georgina Sparks, on the set of her new project The Scribbler and had to ask about her character’s involvement in the CW hit’s final season. “Georgina has been there from the very beginning and I’d bet she’ll be there at the end,” she teases. As for what she wants to see happen? “Georgina should sleep with every one of the male characters on the show. I think it’s not fair to single one out,” she says. “Even though she’s married, she’s an equal opportunity offender. I look forward to bedding every Upper East Side boy…as Georgina!”

That’s the first time we’ve heard that question. Oh, we kid because we love! After all, we asked the exact same thing to Leighton Meester recently. “Who knows? But probably,” she laughed to us. “I think you can imagine that happening for sure. I have ways that I hope it will end, but I don’t want to get anybody else’s hopes up.” But before Chuck and Blair can find forever love with each other, Meester hopes for some Gossip Girl madness. “I hope that a lot of crazy stuff happens. I’m ready for it.” As are we.

I think it’s frustrating fans who just want them to be together and be happy, but we have to save the finish line for the finish line.
Of course we have to draw it out a little bit but like when they say, ‘Why can’t Chuck and Blair just be together already?!’ and it’s like well if they were together then we’d have to break them up in five minutes. The thing is, maybe if Chuck and Blair ever get together fully we want to earn that and take it to a new place, but also I think Blair knows that now.
I don’t know if it was ever a question in the season. It was a matter of arcing out their relationship. We crafted the last act to set us in a certain direction next yea

No, it means she will choose one Gossip guy over the other by season's end. While we won't say who Blair chooses in Gossip Girl's finale on May 14, we can tell you there will be no cliffhanger when it comes to her choice between Chuck and Dan; she's definitely making one.

Well, to first recap for the entire class: In case you missed the Twitter-plosion earlier this week, Gossip master Josh Safran is leaving the Upper East Side and headed to the theater district. And while his migration to Smash will leave a void at Gossip Girl, where Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz are also executive producers, word is that Gossip Girl has yet to be picked for another season, thus making any talk of replacements premature. In the meantime, should GG be taking out a want-ad soon, is there someone you’d like to see take the helm? (Besides me, of course — but I’m flattered by the suggestion. #delusional)
