Gossip Girl Wedding Shocker: Creator Josh Schwartz Prepares for Fan Riot and Teases What's Next

Surprise!

Gossip Girl's highly anticipated 100th episode aired tonight, with Blair's (Leighton Meester) big royal wedding to Prince Louis, and it was full of shockers galore. So did she go through with it? Which guy(s) were left devastated? Did anyone see that twist coming?

I have exclusive scoop on what happens next—and why Blair did what she did!—from all three of Gossip Girl's big bosses: Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran...

Blair did indeed say "I do" to Prince Louis.

Only glitch? She also ran away from her own wedding reception with a man named...Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley).

Wait, no, that can't be right. Gotta fire up the DVR and re-check that.

Wow. Yep, that is actually what happened. Mind. Blown.

While more than a few Gossip Girl fans might have presumed Blair would ditch Louis (pre-vows) and head off into the sunset with Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), those crafty writers threw out a big ol' curveball.

So why did Blair do it? Savage explains: "Part of it was coming from Blair's character and really trying to follow and be consistent with her thought process and her emotions up to this point. And her willingness to stick with her plan and to take this to the end of the line. And as we started to think about the story that actually generates, if you kind sort of let your mind percolate into things that might happen in the future, it generates a lot more story this way."

To that, Josh Schwartz lovingly teases: "Plus, we really just wanted to piss off those 'Chair' fans so they don't destroy my Twitter feeds on a weekly basis." Savage is quick to point out that Chuck and Blair had "some great great moments in tonight's episode and there are many more to come—They are not by any means done!" but Schwartz still (smartly) predicts that at least a few diehard Chair fans won't be happy. "They're going to come with pitchforks! I probably will just not go online tonight. I mean, it's funny, on Friday we aired the last episode ofChuck [which Schwartz also created] and it was so nice and everyone was so lovely and now tonight will be...the opposite. They are coming for us."

Of course, it's precisely that kind of fierce fan intensity that has helped Gossip Girl reach the big 100,  and what happens next is sure to keep everyone guessing, and tuning in.

"You're going to see how [what Blair did] impacts everyone," Safran says of the very next episode. "Chuck and Serena together dealing with Dan and Blair together." As for Louis, who went all-out villain during the wedding, telling Blair there is no love between them, Safran says Blair will face "all sorts of consequences" from her new husband. "This is not taken lightly." Dun dun dun.

While Safran wouldn't reveal much about where the Dan and Blair storyline is going, he teases, "That story's going to go in an interesting direction."

Another huge reveal in tonight's episode? The apparent reveal of Gossip Girl's identity! If it really is the show's on-again-off-again villainess Georgina, does that mean Michele Trachtenberg is now going to narrate the series? No, says Savage. "You'll definitely always hear Kristen Bell's voice as Gossip Girl because the idea was never that that voice was attached to a specific person and that one day, Kristen Bell would be on the show and you'd recognize that voice as Gossip Girl. So whenever we hear Gossip Girl, we hear Kristen."

Regardless of where your shipper heart lies, you gotta admit tonight's 100th episode was a storyline of epic proportions, and surprises.

"We wanted it to feel big," Schwartz explains, "something that would feel like it was pushing the buttons in terms of the core series mythology and core characters, but would also feel shocking and something that would really work as a springboard for the whole back-half of the season."

So how much longer will Gossip Girl go on? Sounds like it could very well end after next season. Schwartz tells me, "Our philosophy has always been that these kinds of show aren't meant to run forever...This season I think has been one of the best seasons of the show and there's a lot of creative vibrancy to the show and you want to go out on top creatively. So next year the actors' contracts are up and perhaps that is a natural time to end it."

As for who Blair might ultimately wind up with at the very end of the series, Savage tells me: "I'll just say that to the credit of Blair the character and to Leighton the actress, she has so many layers and possibilities that you can really see how either of these guys would be a great fit for her."

Madison: Where the heck has Ivy been hiding on Gossip Girl?!
Funny you should ask since we posed that exact question (minus the" heck" 'cause we're ladies and shiz!) to executive producer Josh Safran. His answer? "That's a real good question. The fact that you asked that question, there's an answer in that." So yeah, we're thinking she's literally in hiding. Oh, and she does not make an appearance in tonight's 100th episode.

How Tall Are the Gossip Girl Stars?

Is Ed Westwick (Chuck) larger than life in real life? While Blake Lively(Serena) towers over her castmates in heels, is she still a beanstalk without the stilletos? We know you want to know, so we’ve got the lowdown on these and all your other burning questions about the height of the Gossip Girl cast.

Taylor Momsen(Jenny) is close on Blake's heels at about 5’7”. We actually thought Tay was taller — it must be her thin, long-limbed frame. Or maybe not wearing pants is more flattering than we thought.

5’5” isn’t short for a woman, but it in this crowd it makesLeighton Meester(Blair) a relative shrimp. Good thing she’s so good at rocking power heels — Blair looks up to no one.

We can’t verify most of these stats without chasing down the cast with a tape measure, but we have it on good authority that Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) really is 5’7”: That info comes straight from her former modeling agency, Aria. She’s also got a 25-inch waist, 32-inch hips, and wears a size 8 shoe. You learn something new every day.

As for the dudes: Our sources say that Chace Crawford (Nate) towers at a manly 6’ (Editors’ note: Not sure we believe this one!). Penn Badgley(Dan) comes in half an inch below his ex at 5’9 1/2” (is that why they broke up?) and Ed clocks in at 5’8”. No wonder he wears so many hats.

As for the parentals: IMDb thinks Matthew Settle (Rufus) is 5’10” and Kelly Rutherford(Lily) is 5’8”. We’re not sure we buy that Rufus out-talls Lily by that much, but who are we to argue with the fine people at IMDb?

Is Ed Westwick Tired of Playing Chuck Bass?

As the royal wedding approaches, we’ve seeing many-a look back at the early days of Gossip Girl. Those classic Blair Waldorf one-liners! Those hot young-love hook-ups! And then there are alllll those tidbits on what the big day will actually be!

(Seriously, has your head exploded yet? Ours are on the verge…)

Ed Westwick ― the man behind one of the show’s most likable (and at times loathsome?) characters ― might be mum on wedding specifics, but he isreflecting on the arc of Chuck Bass over the past 5 seasons.

“I feel like the old Chuck was a playboy and that’s what I would have loved to have been,” Ed told TV Guide recently of the good old days. “That’s like the fantasy for any young man, so it made him so much fun to play. Now he’s like a lovesick puppy. It’s like, dude!”

While he’s still bemoaning the fact that Chuck the Changed Man is a little less fun to suit up for every week ― suit! get it? ― he fully understands why his story has played out the way it has. (Two words: Blair.Waldorf. No?)

“After everything Chuck’s been through, I think there were some major wake-up calls and reality checks that kind of put him in a different place,” Ed said of the Season 5 overhaul. “It’s maturity. I’ve experienced it in my own life as well. I feel quite reformed. I bought an apartment so now I’ve got a mortgage to pay. I sit at home and drink tea and watch Planet Earthas opposed to other… activities.”

Did it just get hot in heeeere? Heh. Heh.

In non-GG news, Ed starts filming the Hailee Steinfeld-starring Romeo and Juliet next month, taking on the role of Tybalt and says, “You see more into Tybalt in [this] version. Instead of his being a straight villain and sort of the fascist that we know from the play, you get some depth. I can’t wait to start filming. It’s unreal.”

Can you please tell us what’s going on with Serena? Will she continue to pine for Dan? — @lexieflavor
Let’s just say there’s no one new coming on to the show in the near future to mix things up for the characters’ love lives. “Who we have is who we have,” EP Josh Safran told me yesterday (on Gossip Girl Day!) “We’re continuing to tell the stories with our people and I think that will be really fun to watch.”

I have news for fans of romance (I simply can not guarantee one group or the other, though). Why? Because while ep 100 is rife with heartache and drama, there’s light on the horizon. “[The episodes coming up] are fun and funny and have a lot of romance,” Safran previews, “more than there has been this season. And a lot of alliances and teams.” But again, I will not, can not say any more.

Who Is After Nate on Gossip Girl? A List of Suspects

Even though poor Nate (Chace Crawford)'s storyline about his car accident-plotting foe(s) is gettin' a little sidelined by the rest of Gossip Girl's drama ― just a little thing called a royal wedding and a LOVE SQUARE, no big! ― we are pretty caught up in it... especially after this week's big reveal that Gossip Girl herself is in the loop and playing defense!

Plus, you know, it's NATE ARCHIBALD! The dude's a sweetheart! Who would want to harm a hair on his pretty lil' head?!

All we can figure? Total friggin' jerks, that's who! And we've got a few in mind...

When there's drama in an old-money clan like the vdBs, many-a soap opera has taught us that the first place to look for the culprit is WITHIN. It wasrecently teased that the person responsible for the accident would be found "close to home,” which leads us straight to those infamous Bilts. But while William is hellasketchy and mean-spirited (not to mention allll wrapped up in Nate's current rise to fame), we've never seen him act out against his grandson, have we? And why would he BUY the freakin' Spectator to hand to Nate, if he was just gonna kill him off later? We have some unanswered queries about William's involvement with Diana Payne ― like, you know, WHUH? ― but we have a hard time believing that g-pa would go after his own flesh and blood (...at least when it comes to murdering them).

Big scuzzin Trip showed up in eps 9 and 10 to a) beg Nate to bury the story about the fake affair, b) be jealous of Nate’s new favored position with g-pa (remember, the Camp Allen invite?) and c) lash out at William over his lack of support in the campaign. Desperation can lead to bad behavior, and we all know Trip was pretty bummed about being excluded ― but we've never been convinced that Trip is anything but a lil' twerp (coward! weasel!) under the thumb of his ladder-climbing wife. And for all his faults, we've always kinda, somehow, liked Trip, so we'd prefer not to think him capable of this. (If you DO, however, want to go there... Maybe Trip was sending Nate’s car on a “re-route” so that he could intercept William at the airport and go in his cousin’s place?)

Then again, all roads may lead to THIS LADY. Let’s face it, of the van der Bilt clan, Mo seems the most likely to be capable of this kind of act. She's proven in the past that she has ZERO qualms with taking part in questionable cover-ups, AND she's willing to do most anything to elevate the status of her husband's political aspirations (or should we say her societal aspirations?). Nate's got info that can hurt Maureen. There's the fake affair, but there's also the car accident (Serena’s, that is). Maybe she's decided it's time to bury (no pun intended...) the stories once and for all?

Or maybe the political duo buddied-up with Ivy's sad-sack ex Max to carry out the dreadful deed? Don’t forget, Max approached Trip on the street in ep 10 hoping to work together, and though we're not sure Max has any sorta axe to grind against Nate (though he is HELL-BENT on Ivy’s destruction), we wouldn't put it past Trip and Cruella de Maureen to manipulate the poor fish-outta-water.

We're throwin' this out there just because we have no idea how and why the mid-season finale ended like it did. Diana resurfaced ― having found out about the accident from WHO exactly? ― and her first call was to Jack. We think their storyline might have more to do with Diana's connection to the Bass family than the accident, but still, we've a lingering feeling that the convo wasn't totally on the up-and-up... (though we know Diana is, apparently, not involved in the accident).

Major Gossip Girl Scoop: The Love Triangle Is About to Become a Love Square!

Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) is about to become a major player in the game to win Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester)'s heart!

In the wake of last night's AMAZING Dair-ific teases ― seriously, they totally had us going for awhile with all the sneaking away! ― executive producer Joshua Safran confirmed to E! Online that Dair fans will see the escalation of the plot they've been so eagerly anticipating!

"What I said at the top of the season was this was pretty much going to be a romantic love triangle between Chuck (Ed Westwick), Louis (Hugo Becker), and Blair, and that Dan was going to be more a friend to Blair," Safran said. "This second half of the season, that triangle absolutely becomes a square in a major way. That is where that story is going."

As for pay-off... well, naturally, we won't know for sure until the time comes, but our excitement is building over all the possibilities! We know from what Ed Westwick has been saying about Chuck's "obsession" with Blair that he certainly won't be backing down any time soon. But whose affection will it be that finally tips the scales and has Blair running from the altar?! (Shhh shhh, we know in our hearts she's gonna run, dangit!!)

Something tells us the triangle becoming a square in a "major way" could mean something BIG is on the horizon...

Gossip Girl Spoiler! Dan’s Second Book Will Cause Even More Drama Than His First

The Upper East Side is soon to be rocked by another of Daniel Humphrey(Penn Badgley)’s literary offerings!

(Cue mixed reactions... Groan? Yippee? Mega-shrugz?)

In this week’s ep, “The End of the Affair?”, we saw that Dan’s book deal was extended to a follow-up and that the poor guy is struggling to find his inspiration (durrrr, we’d be a little conflicted too, after everyone wound up drinkin’ the Haterade on his last work of “genius”...). Though the storyline played second fiddle to Dan’s other drama ― you know, the part where the woman he loves has tied herself to princess-hood in an effort to keep Chuck safe, and OH ALSO, the part where his ex-girlfriend locked lips with him in an effort to “protect” a friend (whatever, S!) ― it’s soon to enter into the action in a much bigger way...

“The second book is a primary part of the second part of the season,” executive producer Joshua Safran told The Hollywood Reporter. “The book that Dan is going to write next is harder for him to discover than the last one. Someone intervenes in an unlikely fashion.”

Hmmm! Does that mean Dan is going to be writing about his friends again? Is B ready to sell her life story?! Is Georgina resurfacing for a tell-all?! Will Gossip Girl reveal all her secrets?! (ARE WE OVER-THINKING THIS?! Personally, we’d settle for a prequel involving the life and times of Derek...)

At any rate, don’t look for the drama that surrounds Dan’s new full-time (?) occupation to wane in any way! Safran confirmed to TV Guide that the follow-up to Inside will be even more controversial than its predecessor, saying, “If his first book ruffled a few feathers, this one will ruffle a lot more.”

It's a little weird that the Manhattanite is buying a new house in Los Angeles, but maybe she knows something we don't

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has purchased a a sweet $1,457,500 home in the San Fernando Valley. Encino, to be exact (or if you want to do some stalking lolz!).

The house is 2,847 square-foot, four-bedroom home, with an yard to DIE for! There's a pool, cabana with a kitchenette and bathroom, and a built-in barbecue.

So, why the move the to LA when she is based in New York? Could Gossip Girl be coming to end? Or is someone trying to give her brother, who still lives with her mother, who she is currntely in a bitter legal battle with, a safe haven to retreat to?

Leighton spends her time in New York City where she films her hit CW show, so a purchase in Los Angeles — where her mom and brother live — might be a way for her to keep a closer eye on her brother.

Gossip Girl‘s Ed Westwick Discusses Chuck’s ‘Obsession’ With Blair and His Likely ‘Tragic’ Fate

TVLINE | Blair and Chuck reunited in the fall finale, but Blair is getting married to Louis in the 100th episode. What’s changed?
I wouldn’t say necessarily that Blair is getting married to Louis in the 100th episode, but there definitely is an event scheduled. What happens at that event is TBD. You’re going to find out [Monday] what has happened. There’s a significant time jump between Episodes 10 and 11. A lot of the episode is told in flashback as to what really happened. You’ll definitely learn why they’ve gone from professing their future plans to each other in the back of the limo to Blair walking down the aisle with Louis. … All I can say is more so than ever, [Monday's] episode very much takes place from Chuck and Blair’s point of view.

TVLINE | Chuck’s had a lot of growth this season. Is that something that’s going to stick or might he go back to his bad ways?
The decision to continue to grow and not regress becomes more of a struggle for Chuck in upcoming episodes.

Gossip Girl Exclusive: Look Who’s Returning!

TVLINE | The season started off light and fun with the gang in L.A., and it’s gotten darker as it’s gone on. Is that going to continue?
It will definitely lighten up again, but it was a conscious choice to take it darker. Going from the summeryness of L.A. to the winteryness of New York was very much a conscious choice on our part. As we move back towards spring again, the show will get lighter as well. That is not to say though that there won’t be some shocking darkness around the corner.

TVLINE | What’s going on with Serena and Blair’s friendship, particularly in the 100th episode?
They are very, very much best friends, totally by each other’s sides. That episode is very much about their friendship, and Serena being Blair’s maid of honor. It’s got some of my favorite Serena and Blair moments of the season, if not ever. There’s a really, really cute scene with the two of them on the morning of the wedding, which I think is really going to make fans happy.

Gossip Girl Hot Shots: Blair Has Her Bachelorette Party — and a Run-In With Chuck

TVLINE | The musical dream sequence from Episode 100 leaked. What’s going on with Serena that she has this sort of dream?
In years past, she’s jumped into relationships. As she’s gotten older and wiser, she thought she’s not necessarily jumping into them and then realizes afterward that she still has. This year, there’s very much a conscious choice on her part to be like, “You know what? I’m going to work on myself, and I’m not going to have a relationship.” And she has not had one all year. Because of that, because Serena so often and early on was always paired with somebody and shared her life with somebody… To actually have a life on her own, some anxiety and neurosis might slip in. She’s dealing with those and growing from them. If anything, the dream sequence maybe shows where she’s at a little bit.

TVLINE | There have been hints that she’s not over Dan. Is that a relationship that’s going to be highlighted in the second half of the season?
I wouldn’t say it’s going to be highlighted, but I definitely do think Episode 10 started Serena on a path to look at her past, especially as it concerns her relationships and what they’ve actually meant to her. That takes her into some surprising directions. Maybe there is a little bit, for her, of revisiting the past.

Gossip Girl Hot Shots: Here Comes the Bride!

TVLINE | Everyone seems to know Dan is hung up on Blair, except for Blair. Will she ever be clued in?
The question of whether or not she’s in denial and knows it or whether she truly doesn’t see it will be answered in upcoming episodes.

TVLINE | Could she ever see him in a romantic way?
I will leave that to Blair to answer. I don’t want to answer for her. One thing I will say though about the previous question is that when you said everyone seems to know it but Blair, I think some other people might be in denial about it as well.

TVLINE | Anyone in particular?
I wonder if Serena is fully aware.

TVLINE | Where is the Ivy story headed? And will, “Who’s the real Charlie?” be more of a focus?
The Ivy story is still continuing. She’s definitely between a rock and a hard place. It’s always tough when you have wanted people to believe your lie for so long that when you finally want out of it, they don’t believe you. It’s definitely a tricky place for her to be in. The story takes some surprising turns. As for the real Charlie, as of now, we do know that she is out there. Whether or not we’re going to meet her in the future, I can’t say.

Question: So if I’m to understand this week’s Gossip Girl correctly, the new man to come between Chuck and Blair is… God? —Aram
Ausiello: Yes, and exec producer Josh Safran is here with an explanation. “Religion has [always] been a part of Blair’s life,” he argues. “She went to confession as far back as Season 1. Even though she didn’t fully believe in it, she was there. We really did believe, especially in light of what has happened to Blair after the accident, that she feels even more strongly about this connection and this pull. It’s something that we’re not shying away from. It’s something that we will delve into in future episodes.” Safran concedes that the heavenly roadblock “is definitely a different thing in our show. But we believe in it, and we believe that this is where Blair is right now. Belief is a very personal thing, and it’s also very monumental. We’re not treating it lightly.”

Question: Serena is starting to feel like a guest star on Gossip Girl. What gives? —Emily
Ausiello: That’s pretty much the question I posed to Safran. “If you feel like Serena has been lighter this year, it’s honestly just where the story has taken us,” he tells me. “Last season was very much about Serena. That was the way we sort of looked at it. She had Juliet last year and that was the big driving story. This year we gave Blair the big driving story. And next season — if there is a next season — I would imagine the driving story, should it be the last season, will be the two of them and their friendship.”

Det var lite av kommentarerna som kommit den senaste veckan. Så roligt när ni kommenterar och statisken blir bara högre och högre! Verkligen jätte kul, man får verkligen blogglust då! :)

Något vi alla verkar ha gemensamt är att vi grät till dagens avsnitt. Det var verkligen sorgligt för hos Chairs... Men nu upp med hakan och tänka positivt, än är inte GG slut och det finns fortfarande chans för dem att bli tillsammans igen :) men i våra hjärtan kommer de alltid att vara det <3

Is Gossip Girl's Identity To Be Revealed in Season 5?

Will the real identity of Gossip Girl soon be revealed?!

Not if the voice behind the yet-to-be-seen character, Kristen Bell, is to be believed!

At the premiere of her new Showtime show, House of Lies, K-Bell dished to E! Online that she’s unaware of any upcoming on-screen appearances as the infamous blogger. “I don’t know. I don’t write it,” she said of a potential cameo. “I’m Josh Schwartz’s puppet and I’m happy to be one. That’s up to him. It comes out his big, beautiful brain.”

Interesting...

Does that mean all this “Let’s get Gossip Girl NOW!” business betweenSerena and Nate is gonna be for nothing?! Does it mean that Kristen won’t actually play the role if and when it is revealed?! (That’d break our K-Bell-lovin’ hearts... but it would also open the door for the blogger to be a more familiar face, no? Hmm...) Does it mean absolutely nothing because all GG story-lines are shrouded in secrecy?! (Oh...)

Time will tell! 

For now we’re going to take this at face value and HOPE it means the mystery of Gossip Girl won’t be solved for at least another season. After all, Nate and Serena aren’t the brightest crayons in the GG box, so we think they’re gonna need a little extra time with it (we tease because we love!), and in this case, extra time is a-okay with us!

Hej! Det senaste avsnittet som visades var 5x10 Riding in town cars with boys. Kanal 5 har ännu inte bestämmt när Gossip Girl börjar sändas i Sverige, jag tror det dröjer några veckor till. Förra året började vårsäsongen visas 18 januari i USA och 10 april här i Sverige. Ingen vet om det kommer att bli en säsong till. Skådespelarna har skrivit på för en sjätte säsong men det är inte säkert att den kommer bli av. Från början var det tveksamt att det skulle bli en femte säsong, så jag tror tyvärr inte att det kommer att bli en sjätte säsong, men vi kan ju alltid hoppas att det blir så! :)

Blair’s Royal Wedding Fashion: Who Are the Bridesmaids Wearing?

Looks like Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) will be doing more than looking for her own dress at Vera Wang when Gossip Girl returns with a new episode on Monday, January 16!

US Weekly has the scoop on the dresses that B's bridal party are donning in the just-released pics from the royal wedding. It turns out the divine Miss Wang designed 'em all!

Serena's amazing gown is straight outta Vera's Spring 2011 wedding collection. The "Farrah" is a one-shoulder mermaid gown with hand-painted organza and metallic tulle and a long, regal flange skirt. The off-white (light pink?) color is gorgeous on Blake Lively, to the extent that wealmost think the look rivals Blair's! And while we're sure Serena wouldn't mind that, we can't imagine Blair wanting to be upstaged! (No, really, what gives?!)

As for bridesmaids Penelope, Kati and Jessica... if you love the look, you'll be happy to hear it's far more affordable than the average Upper East Side fashion! The dresses ― one-shoulder organza with a billowy,amazing skirt, and an elastic belt ― are from the designer's White by Vera Wang collection for David's Bridal and retail at... wait for it... just $198!! (Bonus: they come in many-a color too!)

And the piece de resistance? Those fashionable fascinators atop each bridesmaid's head! It just wouldn't be a royal wedding without them now, would it?

Gossip Girl Fall Finale Aftermath: Was Blair's Car Crash Disrespectful to Princess Diana?

A royal prince's bride. Her new boyfriend. A paparazzi chase. A horrific, possibly fatal crash. 

Sound familiar? If you ask us, Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair’s (Leighton Meester) car crash sounds an awful lot like crash that killed Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed back in 1997. 

Now, Gossip Girl often rips its stories from the headlines, or at least fromPage Six [Nate (Chace Crawford) is a blatant rip-off of Jared Kushner this season], but they've never before recreated the death of a revered icon in such detail. Did GG cross the line into bad taste?

On the one hand, ugh. Real people actually died in that car crash. It's pretty gutsy for GG use their deaths to ramp up the drama on a soap opera for teens. They could have easily made the parallels less blatant without losing the scene's impact. Simply delete the paparazzi element of the crash, and the Di issue wouldn't have been nearly as noticeable. Also: Does Diana not exist in Gossip Girl world? Surely all town car drivers must know to never drive princesses so fast.

On the other hand, Gossip Girl has always been about pushing boundaries and pushing buttons. Diana's tragedy happened over a decade ago. Fictionalizing such a huge event should be fair game by now. Plus, nothing about the Gossip Girl crash sequence was mean — nor did it in any way trivialize what happened to her.

Look, Gossip Girl, you're on thin ice with this one. We'll let it go. Just don't turn Chuck into a pop star and have his unscrupulous doctor kill him with an overdose, and we'll be good.

Gossip Girl Spoiler: Does Blair Waldorf Lose the Baby? [PHOTO]

When the official photos from GG’s upcoming ep “Father and the Bride” surfaced yesterday, amidst the mess of bachelorette party merriment on display, we couldn’t help but notice that one thing was missing...  

B’s... gulp... baby bump...

These scenes were filmed back in late October, and we had our suspicions even then. Along with the pics came reports from onlookers that Blair(Leighton Meester) seemed intoxicated and even ― shock! ― got arrested. Then there was that cryptic quote from actress Margaret Colin (Eleanor Waldorf) about B perhaps losing the baby. None of which boded well for Baby Waldorf-Grimaldi-Bass’s future...

AND NOW, after several weeks of over-sized dresses ― ranging from thebow-rific to the seriously tent-y ― used to conceal what was a baking bun in the oven, Blair’s at her party wearing a skin-tight navy blue number that leaves little room for imagination — or a gestating babe. (Not to mention what appear to be empty shot glasses mere inches from her fingertips in another photo.)

Are we looking at proof positive that the car accident caused Blair to miscarry? We didn’t really want to believe that GG would deliver this blow to its reigning Queen B, but we’re also not sure what else can be gleaned from the evidence! 

And WHY OH WHY is the wedding still on if B’s in the midst of an emotional crisis?! (Okay, okay, so she doesn’t look like she’s in the midst of an emotional crisis... but when is B ever this wild and crazy!? We smell heartbreak...)

Svar: 1. Jag tycker att Nate och Serena passar väldigt bra ihop.

2. Jag älskar säsong 4! Helt klart den bästa säsongen enligt mig.

3. Jag började faktiskt kolla ganska sent. Alla mina kompisar kollade och sen fick de mig att börja kolla när säsong 4 började visas I Sverige. Jag blev helt galen I det och började sedan kolla från säsong 1.

4. Det var nog efter jag sett typ säsong 1 och 2 och lite 3 för första gången. Men har sett alla säsonger flera, flera gånger nu.

And here we thought we had this whole dress business all figured out!!

In new photos from the CW teasing the return of Gossip Girl in just under two weeks(!!!), Blair is seen shopping for a wedding dress ― with Dan Humphrey by her side, no less! ― and it isn’t the wedding dress made (in)famous by those runaway bride pics of a few weeks back!

The dress that B sports in the newly-released pics is none other than Vera Wang’s “Giselle” gown from the Spring 2011 collection! Fittingly, the dress is just as gorgeous as its predecessor ― with a bit more flair, and a design that’s a bit more REGAL (read: princess-esque, if you ask us!).

While B could just be trying this dress on while perusing the goods at Vera Wang, double dresses also just so happen to lend support to that whole “multiple dream sequences” plotline we’ve been banking on. 

The question is: Which dress is the real one?

B does her best Julia Roberts (errr, Maggie Carpenter, rather) in this gown that captured our hearts wayyy back in November, but we couldn’t quite ever shake the “off” feeling that Blair Waldorf, Future Princess, getting married in late 2011 in a year-old dress gave us. Plus, this is the dress she escapes the church in ― the church in NYC ― AND, by assumption, the dress she filmed in at JFK (and if all those plot points were spoiled by filming, that’d be the worst-kept secret ever). Still, the classic style of the dress feels a little more suited to a royal wedding. (And, you know, we’re hoping she doesn’t go through with it... so 5 bonus points to this being reality ― a reality in which B flees!)

While this gown looks like a dream sequence ― that skirt! ― with the likelihood of all of the above, Giselle moves its way into the reality realm quite easily. On the flip side, B is just trying on gowns in the shop, and if we know Blair (and we’re pretty sure we do!), there’ll be plenty of options weighed before the final selection is made. We wouldn’t even be surprised if that paper in Dan’s hand is full of notes on every gown in the city! BUT, if B is trying to convince herself that she really does want this princess stuff to work out ― the ep is called “The End of the Affair” after all... sniff sniff... ― maybe she’ll reward her forward-thinking with the most lavish dress that Vera has to offer...
